Pool Deck & Bar

Pull up a recliner and relax at our pool deck and bar area overlooking the estuary.

Order a cold beverage from the bar, put on lots of sunscreen, and wile away the hours doing absolutely . . . nothing.

By Air

Most international airlines fly into OR Tambo airport in Johannesburg. From there you can fly via SA Airlink or LAM (Air Mozambique) directly to Vilankulo (approx 1hour 20 minutes).

There are also regular flights from Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport so why not combine your visit to Dugong Beach Lodge with a trip to the Kruger National Park?

You will have to clear customs at Vilankulo Airport. SADC passport holders (including South Africans) do not require visas to enter Mozambique. Other passport holders can purchase visas on arrival, but you should check if there are any specific visa regulations or requirements for your country beforehand.

If you are flying on a private plane, be advised that Vilanculos airport has a tarmac runway (1470m long) and a manned air traffic control tower. Landing and parking fees and passenger taxes for private aircraft are charged on departure.
