Leshiba-1 The extraordinary Venda Village Lodge was created together with acclaimed Venda artist, Noria Mabasa. The Village has 5 en-suite African style huts that open on to sculpted sun-baked courtyards. Facilities include a lounge with an indoor fire place, dining room, an outdoor open fire pit, a swimming pool and deck with stunning views over the Duluni valley and the famous "most delicious bath in Africa".

The two luxury suites, Mwedzi (moon) and Duvha (sun), are secluded units with bedroom, dining room and lounge. Each has an en-suite bathroom with a bath and double showers plus an outdoor shower. The patios have a private plunge pool with views across the valley.

Eco Game and Nature Reserve

The Lodge is situated in our eco friendly Game and Nature Reserve on top of the Soutpansberg mountains in the Limpopo province, South Africa, in one of the country’s most unique environments.

Massage therapies

Leshiba offers a range of therapies designed to relax the body, soothe the spirit, improve muscle tone and evoke a feeling of well-being. Our therapists will ease and rejuvenate tired limbs and help calm your mind, creating a natural harmony within.

Guided walks, game drives, horse trails and mountain biking

Leshiba offers guided walks and game drives as well as adventure horse riding for experienced riders. Leshiba is a hikers paradise. There are 12 well-marked trails to explore the reserve without a guide. Wander freely amongst wildlife which includes rhino and giraffe or bring your mountain bikes and challenge yourself on some of our bush tracks.

Solar power, wireless internet and pure drinking water available

We are off the grid! Leshiba is an eco lodge and the property is solar powered. There is wireless internet at The Lodge for anyone who needs to stay connected but limited cell phone reception. We have a number of boreholes on the property and the water at Leshiba is great for drinking.

Malaria Free

Leshiba is situated at a high altitude where the malaria carrying mosquito cannot survive. We have had no incidence of malaria and are regarded as a malaria free destination.

Self catering at Leshiba allows you to enjoy your freedom and time with your family and friends. Leshiba is situated on top of the Soutpansberg Mountains in Limpopo, South Africa. We have different types of self catering accommodation from sublime luxury at our Venda Village Lodge to a secluded bush retreat at Hamasha Bush Camp.

We cater for singles and couples through to families, friends and workshop groups.
