BROWN TROUT, LAPWING, HERON & IRISH HARE

• All the rooms are of generous proportion, elegantly styled and furnished for your comfort – the best beds, the best goose down duvets and the best organic cotton sheets and towels.
• All rooms have en-suite showers and toilets. Brown Trout also has a bath and a sofa bed which is suitable for one adult or two small children.
• Brown Trout and Heron have wood burning stoves
• Lapwing has a king size double bed that can be converted to two singles.
• All rooms have flat screen TVs and look out over the traditional cottage garden- which is reserved for guests.

• Enjoy a hearty breakfast in our on-site tea room with cereals, homemade granola, yogurts and fruits (some seasonally home grown), bacon and sausages from our rare breed pigs, free range eggs, homemade bread and marmalade; all washed down with proper tea or coffee. Available to guests every day.

• In the evening we can provide a supper. Please let us know in advance so that we have something good for you to eat.

• Everything you eat will be made with 100% organic ingredients and much of it will have been produced on our farm.

• Please note that we do not have a drinks licence but we are happy for you to bring your own alcoholic beverages.

• Take a stroll along one of our two farm walks (1km and 1.5km) taking in recently planted woodland, a variety of farm animals and the water turbine intake.

• Happenings around the farm – there is frequently something of particular interest, such as new born stock – just ask. You may also want to see the water turbine in operation. Again, just ask.

• On site there is also the Farm Shop and Tea Room. There is always something good to eat!

They stock (almost) everything you could possibly need to live an organic and sustainable lifestyle.  The grocery selection is large, everything from baking ingredients, to premium quality chocolate, pasta and rice to tinned soup.  The chilled and frozen section stocks all manner of dairy products including milk, cheese and ice cream.  They also have a wide selection of frozen vegetables and ready to cook meals.  In our household section there is a large array of environmentally friendly cleaning products, and on a more personal level we stock a range of organically certified soaps, shower gels, shampoos and lotions.
